Cookie Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026
The short version
Craps.now uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Anonymous players get no cookies at all on game pages. If you sign in, we set one session cookie so you stay signed in. Your game saves, statistics and settings live in your own browser's localStorage.
Cookies we set
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | First-party, essential | Keeps you signed in to your account and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Up to 30 days |
That's the whole list. We set no third-party cookies, no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. Because the only cookie is strictly necessary for the sign-in feature you asked for, no consent banner is required.
Browser storage (localStorage)
To make the games work well, we store data in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device unless you sign in and sync statistics:
- cn:save:* - your in-progress session on each table, so you can resume where you left off.
- cn:stats:* - per-table statistics: sessions played, double-ups, best times, streaks.
- cn:settings - your table felt, dice style, sound and animation preferences.
- cn:guestname - the display name you chose for leaderboards and multiplayer as a guest.
You can clear all of it at any time from your browser's site-data settings - it just resets your local saves and preferences.
Managing cookies
Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies per site. Blocking our session cookie simply means you can't stay signed in; all games remain fully playable as a guest.
Changes and contact
If our cookie use ever changes, this page and its effective date will change with it. Questions? Use the contact page. See also the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
