What are come bets?

Once a point is on, put chips in the COME box. The very next roll is that bet's private come-out: 7 or 11 wins even money, 2, 3 or 12 loses, and any box number moves your chips onto that number. Now it's a mini pass bet - it wins if its number repeats before a 7, at the same 1.41% edge. You can back it with free odds, exactly like the pass line.

Come bets put you on more numbers while keeping pass line odds - much cheaper than placing the 4, 5, 9 or 10. A classic approach is pass plus two come bets, all with odds: three numbers working, every dollar at 1.41% or better. The sting is that one seven-out clears them all at once - the same 7 that beats your pass bet takes every traveled come bet with it.

The don't come box is the mirror image: a mid-round don't pass bet at a 1.36% edge. It wins on the next roll's 2 or 3, bars the 12, and once it travels to a number it wins when the 7 shows first. Right or wrong side, the come boxes are how craps lets you layer the table's best bets roll after roll.
