What is High Point Craps?
High Point strips craps down to one bet and one idea: whatever the dice set as your point, roll something bigger. It's quick, forgiving, and a favorite first table for new players.
How High Point works
Make your bet and roll. A 2 or 3 is simply ignored - roll again. An 11 or 12 wins even money on the spot. A first-roll 7 loses - too common to count as high. Anything else becomes your point, and now you must roll a total higher than it before a 7 shows. A 7 always loses in the point phase, and any roll at or below your point just re-rolls. The field is offered as a side bet.
The strategy of high and low points
Your fate is set by the point. A point of 4 is comfortable - 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 all beat it, with only the 7 lurking. A point of 10 is a cliffhanger: only an 11 or 12 (3 combinations) saves you before the 7 (six combinations). That swing between cruise and cliff is the variant's drama, and there's nothing you can do but ride it out.
Where it sits among the variants
At roughly a 2.35% house edge under standard casino rules (our free-chip table's re-roll rules play a touch friendlier), High Point costs more than the classic pass line's 1.41% but far less than Crapless at 5.38% - a fair price for rules you can learn in one roll. It supports multiplayer races and the daily challenge, so it's a great fast table for racing a friend.

What is Crapless Craps?
Crapless Craps is a variant where you can't lose the come-out roll: a 7 still wins, but 2, 3, 11 and 12 become points instead of instant wins or losses. The comfort has a price - giving up the automatic 11 win raises the pass edge to about 5.38%.
What is Die Rich Craps?
Die Rich is craps played with one die instead of two. On the come-out a 6 wins even money and a 1 loses; anything else - 2, 3, 4 or 5 - becomes your point, which you must roll again before a 1 shows. It's the fastest, simplest table on the site.
How many craps variants are there?
Dozens have existed across 700 years of dice history. Craps.now offers 8 playable variants in three families: the casino classics (Craps, Crapless, New York), modern simplifications (High Point, Simplified, Die Rich) and the street and historical games (Street Craps and medieval Hazard).
